Prof. Jaeyoung Sung was awarded the first Kook Joe Shin academic excellence prize from Korean Chemical Society.

Prof. Jaeyoung Sung was honored to be the first awardee of the Kook Joe Shin academic excellence prize. The prize was established this year in Korean Chemical Society to honor the theoretical chemists who made an excellent contribution to advances in theoretical or computational chemistry. In response to the great honor, the first awardee of The Kook Joe Shin academic excellence prize donated the entire prize money, which amounts to 1,000,000 Korean won, to the Physical Chemistry Division of Korean Chemical Society.
