Three undergraduate researchers from the CDLC Laboratory—Jinwon Park, Boeun Lee, and Beomjun Kim—have been awarded the President’s Award and the Department Head’s Award at the prestigious 2025 CAU Young Science Festa.

Jinwon Park and Boeun Lee collaborated with PhD candidate Jinhyung Kim to present a novel model capable of quantitatively analyzing complex chemical reaction networks within cells. Their work demonstrated how this model can be applied to real biological data, offering new insights into intracellular chemical dynamics.

Beomjun Kim, working alongside PhD candidate In-Chun Jeong, introduced a machine learning methodology designed to predict Liquid-Liquid Phase Separation (LLPS) phenomena in living organisms. LLPS is a critical process in cellular organization and function, and their approach contributes to advancing computational biology in this domain.

👏 Congratulations to all three students for their outstanding achievements and contributions to scientific research!
